Welcome to the 11th Newsletter providing the latest news regarding the National HPC Competence Center (EuroCC@Greece) and High Performance Computing (HPC) in Greece and all over Europe.

News Highlights

“Data analytics in the era of large-scale machine learning” Training Event's presentations and recorded material are now available.

The training event by EuroCC@Cyprus and EuroCC@Greece successfully took place on May 23-24.

“Fast and Powerful Machine Learning Tools in Engineering: Hands-On Applications” Online Workshop’s recorded material is now available.

The Workshop by EuroCC@Greece in partnership with the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET), the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the University of Pretoria (UP) was successfully held online, on May 11th.

"High Performance Computing (HPC) Technologies: Introductory seminar & the “Aristotelis” infrastructure at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki" recorded material is now available.

The introductory seminar was successfully co-organised by EuroCC@Greece and the Information Technology Center of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, on April 5th.

EuroCC@Greece participation in the 3rd Hellenic Biocluster Forum.

On June 17th, EuroCC@Greece’s industry champion Dr. Lena Kanellou from ICS Forth gave a presentation during the workshop dedicated to start-ups, titled “Digital Transformation in the Healthcare Sector: How High-Performance Computing can Transform your Business”, which was co-hosted by the smartHEALTH European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH).

EuroHPC Information Day for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) recorded material is available.

EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) organised its first Information Day for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) virtual event, on April 18th.
